October in doodles

At the beginning of the month I joined a doodle a day challenge created by the talented ellolovey. There are plenty of these type of mini projects over the internet, but this one seemed fun and also some of my IG friends were doing it too.

I made myself a teeny tiny sketchbook using a collage cover I made about a year ago and never used, 32 pages of watercolour paper and a 25mm ring. I printed out the October list, glued to the first page and I was set to go!

You can find the overall set on my Flickr page (here) or on Instagram (here) with the #doodleadayoct tag.
If you fancy join in for the November challenge, click on the November list. Happy doodling!

Another month, another wardrobe update for my fast growing girl. Shopping is fun when you buy clothes for a toddler girl; there is so much to choose from and prices are still manageable. She loves patterns, like her mama, and comfortable clothes to run around and climb on things (I caught her jumping on a chair last week at nursery!). There are still a few things she’s going to need for the winter, but these basics will keep her warm and cute.

Hello October!

This month arrived with no warning what so ever. So today my brain started bursting with ideas, projects, things I would like to accomplish and so many other things it doesn’t take long to feel a bit depressed acknowledging that I’m, once again, loading myself with too much stuff I won’t be able to cross off my list. And yet, I can’t help but dreaming and keeping myself as busy as possible, and trying new things and working towards that indefinite goal that is living life to the fullest.

Happy October to you too!
