41/52

It’s week 41 and still very glad I’m keeping up with this project.

This is you, waiting for the train while munching on nuts

This week you:

  • Waited impatiently at the airport for papa to come back from his trip. And when he finally arrived, you were more interested in showing him the cheese crackers you were eating.
  • Kept dancing during dinner time at Nando’s. They had the music on and you couldn’t help it. So cute, but also so distracting.
  • Learned to drink from a water bottle with a sports cup. You managed to pour water all over yourself at your firts attempt, but then mastered the technique like a pro.
  • Collected all the acorns we could find on the nursery playground. Forty minutes later we managed to leave and go home.
  • Enjoyed going around town using the public transport. And asked if it was our stop at every single one; you couldn’t wait to get off!
And from last week, I love the marvel on Everdeen Kate’s face from You and I. And those blue eyes (and super cute drees)!

40/52

It’s week 40 and now it feels we are quickly reaching the end of this project! It has been an easy week, even if it was just the two of us for almost three days.
This week you:
  • Talked during your sleep, a lot!
  • Learned how to do the puzzle by yourself, but being stubborn, you got upset if we’d come and help. But then got frustrated if you couldn’t do it right. There is no easy fix to this.
  • Enjoyed our walks in the mornings.
  • Loved playing in the cot with your new handmade quilt, pretending you were asleep.
  • Had a fun playdate at the playground and loved burying your feet in the sand.
  • Ate a lot and slept a lot, this week was magic.
From last week, loving the pics of the two Mummy Karma‘s boys. The light at sunset makes everything shine with magic.

Hello October!

This month arrived with no warning what so ever. So today my brain started bursting with ideas, projects, things I would like to accomplish and so many other things it doesn’t take long to feel a bit depressed acknowledging that I’m, once again, loading myself with too much stuff I won’t be able to cross off my list. And yet, I can’t help but dreaming and keeping myself as busy as possible, and trying new things and working towards that indefinite goal that is living life to the fullest.

Happy October to you too!

39/52

It’s week 39 and I still love this project! It has been a quiet week this one. We are still enjoying some family time on wednesdays and thursdays when we are all at home, the mild temperatures and the slower pace of life.
This week you:
  • Insisted on wearing my scarf and you were so cool with it!
  • Learned so many new words. Our favourite is when you start jumping like mad shouting “balla, balla, balla!” (Dance, dance, dance!). And we got you in a video while you do that 🙂
  • Saw a comforter similar to yours (just a newer version) in the shop and you got so excited I had to buy it. But it was so worthy, as soon as you got it you started kissing it and made the two comforters kissing each other.
And my favourite from last week are the portraits from Twins, Plus One. Love the colours, the outdoor surroundings and Poppy’s gorgeous smile.

38/52

It’s week 38 and autumn is now in full swing!
This week you:
  • Talked and talked and talked. On one afternoon you talked for one hour straight before finally falling down for a nap! It’s fun, but very exhausting.
  • Loved building a fort with a blanket and playing under it with your favourite toys. You loved it so much you cried in the evening when we took it down, and asked to build it again the following day.
  • Were down with high temperature for two days, but it didn’t bother you and played all day long as normal (didn’t even loose your appetite!).
  • Wore a paper crown just long enough for me to snap a picture of you. You enjoyed watching me making one, but the wearing it part was not as funny.
  • Jumped with excitement when I gave you some barbapapa printouts for you to colour. And you have not stopped since!

From last week loving Zack, Vaila and Katie from muckle mum. What an artistic and sweet family!
